So now that Governor Romney has had a decisive win in Illinois, taking more than 40 of the 56 delegates up for grabs, the media has a new tune. ------Romney will be our nominee -------- Oh, there is talk that Santorum or Gingrich could, possibly, maybe, if a miracle happened have a Hail Mary that would cause a brokered convention; but they can't win, not even a plurality at this point, (at least in the case of Speaker Gingrich.) The "Establishment" has started to coalesce around Governor Romney, as shown by the quick endorsement of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. Soon Senator Santorum and Speaker Gingrich can expect the pressure to withdraw to mount. The Speaker's support is dwindling on its own and Santorum is making the kind of gaffes that desperation causes, (see his comments on religion as it relates to votes.)
Yet even with a huge victory, a huge delegate lead, a majority of states and territories so far, and 1million plus lead in the popular vote, the media still asks if Governor Romney has passionate supporters. So Mitt Chicks, at Mitt Romney Radio decided to test the theory. If you listen to the podcast, all the way to the end, you will hear multiple callers, calling in to tell why they are passionate for a Mitt Romney candidacy. The entire podcast is 2 hours, but I think you will find it enlightening. If you can't listen to the whole thing, at least listen to the callers at the end. [warning: I am one of the callers]
